Hello everyone, and thanks for reading our Weekly Newsletter. First, there are a few changes to the newsletter itself. Starting this week, the newsletter will be released on Mondays instead of Sundays, and will also be posted on the BGP website and Facebook in addition to the BGP email group.

In Case You Missed It…

Listen to our Interview with Meagan “Ducky Dynamo” Buster. We discuss the connections between environmental justice, race, and art, and how people of color can build and lead movements around environmental issues that affect their communities.

We held the first part of a very informative Webinar on Public Banking. The video recording of this session will be released soon. We covered the theory and history of Public Banking and how it can broadly be used to benefit local democratic government. Part 2 (info below) will cover how Public Banking can specifically be applied to Baltimore.
